Reforestation Technician Position Available
The Akaka Foundation for Tropical Forests, on behalf of the Pu‘uwa‘awa‘a Community-Based Subsistence Forest Area (PCBSFA) is seeking to hire a Reforestation Technician to support the reforestation of 84-acres at the top of the Pu‘u at Pu‘uwa‘awa‘a.
The PCBSFA is an effort to restore the 84-acre area to a thriving forest that can be enjoyed, managed and utilized by the local community. Local residents and those with pilina, or a relationship and familiarity to Pu‘uwa‘awa‘a and the Napu‘u area are encouraged to apply!
